There are times in life when we can be faced with incredibly impossible situations. I have prayed for hundreds of people in ministry and many times I sense the Spirit of God saying yes to them in their situation. I have always wondered, ‘why is God saying that?’ Of course I know it means God is going to bring the miracle they need, so many get powerful miracles from God. But as I’ve meditated on this issue, I’m convinced God says yes to His children because of Jesus. Jesus is the divine “Yes” to all the promises of God!

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” One count of all the promises of the bible comes in at 3,573! So, for all of those wonderful promises, God is saying yes to all of them in your life, because of Jesus!

Now at this point let me say, I’m not promoting a free for all type theology. There are things which God requires of us, for example, we can’t have salvation without repentance, we can’t have our sins forgiven, washed and cleansed with confessing them to God. We need to live our lives in the fear of the Lord and be submitted to the Lordship of Christ. William Booth the founder of the Salvation Army said:

“The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, heaven without hell.”

I certainly don’t want to leave you with the impression that if you’re living life just any way you please, that God is like Santa Claus, sitting in heaven shelling out blessings indiscriminately. However, if you’re walking in right relationship with Jesus and standing by faith in the power of his finished work, then God, because of Jesus, is saying yes to you!

Many times the circumstances of life can have us so down we can forget that God is saying yes. I want to encourage you today, maybe your circumstances are screaming at you saying no, God is saying yes to you! Because of Jesus’ finished work there is a divine Yes over your life!

God is saying yes to your forgiveness and salvation because of Jesus! God is saying yes to your health and healing because of Jesus! God is saying yes to your supernatural provision and blessing because of Jesus! God is saying yes in every area of your life because of Jesus!

God loves you as much as He loves Jesus, and He wants you to experience the fulfilment of all the promises of God in your life. You are the apple of God’s eye, and the reason he sent Jesus into the world. Don’t stop short of receiving all God has for you because of adverse circumstances, be determined to believe God is spite of circumstance!

Then there is the impossibility of the mission God calls us to. The Great Commission has the element of difficulty and impossibility. God knows the tasks He gives us to do are difficult and even impossible. He knows we’re going to need His help to do them. (Mark 16:20) We the help of God to heal the sick, raise the dead, see blind eyes open, bring the gospel with power to others.

Some feel life is already too difficult without another difficult situation added to it. I believe God knows that and in spite of that He’s still saying yes! Isaiah 45:2&3 says “I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.”

No barrier or obstacle is to great for God to overcome. God will cut through bars of iron if He has to. He will break down gates of bronze! No barrier will stop God when God says Yes, every obstacle between you and the fulfillment of your mission will be removed!

God will level every mountain and give you treasures of darkness, hoards stored in secret places. I believe there are so many precious people trapped in darkness that only you can reach. God has a mission for every one of us to fulfill the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:19)

Today I believe God is saying yes to you. Maybe you are struggling with doubt, remember Jesus paid a terrible price for you to have the same kind of relationship with God that He did. God wants you to experience the same favor on your life that Jesus had, He wants you to know today that He is saying Yes to you.
