Over the years we have seen thousands of precious people come to the altar, repent of their sins and give their lives to Christ. They come in response to the Gospel message, God’s offer of salvation for all of humanity. They come because they are responding to a God who was willing to send His only Son to die in their place. They come because God is willing to save.

Today, you need to know that God is willing to come through for you in every area of your life. The bedrock of the Christian faith is the finished work of Christ. God’s redemptive work to redeem humanity, embraces every facet of human life. It demonstrates God’s willingness to redeem and deliver us. Romans 8:32 tells us “Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?”

I have people ask me, “Why isn’t God doing this or that?” and it is a valid question. God is omnipotent, God is Almighty, He is Sovereign and has the power to intervene in any situation. We also live in a world where God has enacted a plan of salvation and it must be appropriated by faith.

There are millions of people in the world headed for a Christless eternity either because they have not heard the Gospel message, or have rejected the gospel message. God’s gift of salvation can only be claimed by those who have heard it, believed it, to those who have received it by faith. John 1:12 tells us “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”

We need to have the faith that God is willing. God is willing to heal us. Jesus was whipped and punished. His body was broken for us to be made whole. With each lash He was saying “I am willing to heal you!” Many times we hear the enemy whisper, “God wants you to suffer with that sickness” but Jesus says “I paid the price for you to be made whole.” The devil says “No” but God says “Yes.” The devil says “It’s not possible” but God says “All things are possible!”

As soon as we begin to think that God is not willing to heal us, to intervene in our lives, to come through for us, we are in agreement with the circumstances. We are in agreement with the enemy. We need to have faith that because of what Christ accomplished at the Cross, that God is willing. Our starting point is Jesus’ finished work!

There are things that happen in life that just make no sense. There are times we wonder where God is and why He has allowed things to happen to us, but today I want to encourage you to dare to believe that God is willing. He won’t enable our sin and disfunction, but He is willing to redeem us, to heal us, to help us walk in the fulness of what Christ paid for at the Cross.

Today I want to encourage you with the wonderful truth that God is willing. Let it be the bedrock of every prayer you pray. Let it be the foundation of every action you take. God is with you, God is for you, He will never leave you or forsake you. He will come through for you. Only believe, all things are possible for the one who believes. (Mark 9:23)
