Sometimes it seems like God is not there or He has forgotten His word, and His promises. Sometimes the circumstances we face can cause fear to arise within us. We say ‘God I put all my eggs in one basket and that basket is You. You are my only hope and now things look so bad I think I’m going to have to do something to bail myself out! I trust have trusted You to this point but I have to draw the line somewhere, this situation is a lost cause. I am left with no choice but to take matters into my own hands!’

 Maybe you are feeling that way today. I want to encourage you, God’s delay is not God’s denial. You are doing the right thing putting all your trust in Jesus and not in your own efforts, because when God comes through it will be that much sweeter! God can do things that no-one else can do. God can do the impossible, the miraculous, the supernatural. If you try and do things your way, it won’t be anywhere near as spectacular.
