Barry came to Christ in 1989 through the ministry of Tim Hall, an Australian Assemblies of God Healing Evangelist.  His conversion experience was a radical road to Damascus experience, transforming him from an avowed agnostic to a fervent follower of Christ. Since that time he has had a passion to reach lost people for Christ. On completion of his University Business Degrees in 1993, he spent 1 ½ years street preaching in New Zealand with an Australian Street Evangelist. He has been involved with Dove ministries the ministry of prominent New Zealand Healing Evangelist, Bill Subritzsky and involved with the leadership and formation of Breath of Life ministries with Bruce Rea. Bruce now holds powerful miracle and healing meetings in South Auckland.

For a number of years Barry worked in Corporate New Zealand and United Kingdom. He became a qualified accountant and climbed the corporate ladder as a business services and tax consultant. He has worked in London in the Investment Banking Sector. During his years at work he always felt the call of God to ministry and was waiting for God’s timing to venture into what He had for him.

Barry completed his professional ministry training, the Master of Divinity degree at Oral Roberts University in May 2006. Barry has launched, a worldwide Gospel campaign ministry, the Barry Raeburn Evangelical Association. Barry’s heart cry is to share the Lord’s heart for His people who live in desperate conditions in developing countries.

The miracle crusade ministry partners with local indigenous Christian Churches to facilitate the campaign events.  It will facilitate Kingdom building conferences, where the Gospel of the Christ will be proclaimed to businesspeople, are planned  prior to the main campaign events, to train in market place ministry.  After the campaign events, the ministry will work alongside local churches to aid in new convert discipleship, and seek ways for established Churches to continue serving the regional needs.
